If the woman is so terrified of the Cyclops why is the guy trying to free it? If she was going to be terrified why go with him? If chopping the ice down to a few inches' thickness isn't enough for the cyclops to break free with his right arm, he did he get his left arm out from under an even thicker block of ice?
