Definitely lucky. This was only due to the lack of knowledge by the lister and title. If I had seen this one I definitely would have bid more congratulations!

 By example here is one that ended today. 

And even this could have used a better / more descriptive title to get more views , although looking at the pictures I do not believe this would have a shot at a 9.8. Think it would max at maybe a 9.4, but probably lower.

Yes, I agree it should have with the JLA 70 4th in the pic. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I stopped looking for that book a little while back, otherwise you would have had more competition!

I know..I do not have any clue how I missed it . Especially being an auction.   BIN I can understand missing. Just in the last 2 days had a few that I was in process of checking out and they sold. ( both within seconds of listing.  One UF #2  1:25 variant CGC 9.4 listed just under $2k and an Iron Man #1 1968 raw maybe a 3.0 or so that was a BIN for $40. ( all of that sellers listings sold within an hour of that listing )

what an incredible memory you have Kenaran.  How in the heck would anyone recall the "Six-Fifty" blurb on the cover of Action 650?     And congats on getting those comic books for a bargain.

Thanks!  That issue was a prelude to 'Day of the Krypton Man'.  The early Eradicator stories are a personal favorite of mine.

Guys, I apologize for not being a diligent board reader! Had I known this thread talked about the DCU logos, I'd have posted here 1st. I'm not a big Death of Superman fan, but I love finding DCU logos!

Hunting comics is my favorite hobby. My PC has reached that point where I'm only looking for a very narrow list for myself, so I've been hooked on the flip for a while now. 

I wish I had the original Craigslist pic I found that led to this lot. There was a 686 sitting on top of a pile, but the rest of the books were hard to see. The seller didn't let on that there were so many multiples of each pack. I'm thinking he thought maybe no one would want to buy a bunch of the same books. 

He had them stacked by issue across the counter in his antique store when I walked in. I'd only seen one 2-pack in all my hunting, so I was a little overwhelmed for a second.

Amazing results!!  Congrat!!  Two Legacy of  Superman 2nd prints… two 500 errors.., two Superman 73 2nd prints all in 9.8!!  Not to mention all the other amazing books!!  WOW!!

Looks like this guy got roughed up a bit though… the before pics seemed much sharper than 9.0!
