Hello all as many of you know I do many a CGC sketch opps, and next year I will being doing my first comic con in Austin, Tx , at the Palmer Events Center, which has vendor parking spaces number 1-100 and 1200 parking garage spaces for the public. The floor plan consists of 75,000 square feet and 5,000 in the upstairs media rooms with private balcony for Vip's for a night gathering. Capital City is an Art centered show, with artists from all over the world, comic book dealers and original art. Cosplay will also be a main attraction. No Celebs!

The floor space will consists of over 300 8 FT artists alley tables.

If you have any luck convincing creators that Austin is a lovely stop on their way to SDCC, you have an opportunity for a major winner.

There are a few direct flights from here to San Diego on Southwest daily.

Otherwise I worry that you are too close to SDCC to draw big names. You have to embrace being close to SDCC both in time and geographically.
