The StupidKid collection - for CI and S'pimp

It's GREAT seeing these books of this magnitude in the hands of someone collecting. The Timelys look incredible, with as nice a structure I've seen on ANY Heritage consigned Timelys. The Flash 1 (fromthe other thread) is miraculous! Looks like a newsstand copy! Incredible to see. Thanks for a look at some 50 carat diamonds!!

you can toss the ASM 42 double cover my way

Actualy I just opened that box last night and I'm very happy with it. I'd say the outer cover is VF/VF- and inside over is easily a 9.0, maybe 9.2. The book has a pretty serious..not sure what it's called....where the front cover wraps around to the back cover. Beautiful white pages though. I can't wait to see what CGC says. As long as they don't say it's a fake, I'm happy.

No, I love Groo.

In fact, I have a great Aragonés story.

Before he passed away, my father-in-law

(who looked a lot like Aragonés), used to love to read

Groo - he always called him "that funny M.F.'er".

He was bedridden for a long time, and reading Groo was one of

his great pleasures. So at a show, my wife is telling Sergio

about how much her father loves his work, and he did a great

Groo sketch for him that we took home and he kept by his bedside.

Then a few weeks after we returned, Sergio mailed us a TPB of the

spanish version of Mighty Magnor that he inscribed to my father-in-law.

He will always rate high on my favorite creators list for that alone.

(not to mention that that Groo is a funny M.F.'er)

"A man with only one loaf of bread worries about where his next one will come from, while a man with two loaves of bread worries about the second one going moldy."

Who worries about the 50 year old brick of Land-O Devil Lake's moldy butter?
