The Flying Donut Collection - Pedigree (?)

14 posts in this topic

I'm giving very serious thought to selling my 30 cent variant set. The thrill was in the hunt, as they say.

My question is - would this be a recognized "pedigree" collection? It is:

- unique

- single owner

- complete

just wondering if I want to give CGC $2800 in grading fees....

I think if you obtained the books as they came out from newsstands, comic stores, etc then yes. If you obtained them from various sources over time that would disqualify it as a pedigree. But, like the Nic Cage Collection, they may have the "From the Flying Donut Collection" on them. Now wouldn't THAT be sweet? smile.gif

The way to sell your "pedigree" unique complete collection is to go thru Heritage, who'll hype it up for you and make sure it doesn't sell any less than it would take for both you and Heritage to cover all slabbing costs, auction expenses and profit lucratively off it all at the same time!
