Everything We Know So Far About ‘Batman vs. Superman’

 

'Batman vs. Superman' is hitting theaters on July 17, 2015. Let's take a quick look at some of the other films coming out around that time:

 

• 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' (May 1)
  
• 'Ant-Man' (recently moved to July 31)
  
• 'Fantastic Four' (March 6)
  
• 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' (July 10)
  
• 'Assassin's Creed' (June 19)
  
• 'Terminator 5' (June 26)
  

 

So it's already going to be a tightly packed year, and that's not even counting 'Ted 2' (hitting earlier in April), the still tentatively scheduled 'Independence Day 2,' 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2' (November 20) and, of course, 'Star Wars: Episode 7' come Christmas. And that's not all! 'Batman vs. Superman' has its work cut out for it if it plans to rule the box office.

 

It's looking like 2013 with loads of planned big hits packed in back-to-back.

To me the title of such a movie illustrates everything that is wrong with DC. Superman vs Batman is a ridiculous match up but hey let's try and make a movie about it! Sure people will go to see it but it will be interesting to see how they dance for 2 hours around the fact that Superman could just pick up batman and throw him to China, battle over. Yes DC you still suck.
