Thanks, Trevor. It's difficult to just recognize fellow collectors around here. Beyond a very few shows there is little to encourage a high grade conversation. Here's to crowdsourcing the interests and energies of serious collectors, semi-pro dealers and war torn vets in a way that builds the local collecting community.

We'll let you know how it turns out!

Maybe I'm out of the loop on this. Just read (most of) the Cole Schave thread and now see you are referencing Doug Schmell of Pedigree Comics, thought you were asking about a boardie/attendee.

We can ask Doug about anything, feel free to attend to get the scoop. And, enjoy Q&A on sensitive subjects in an environment of polite curiousity, not confrontation.

If you read all of the Cole Shave thread it would have taken you the whole weekend ! lol,

Seriously, as a collector, Doug himself was very picky about his comics. Now Doug buys simply to resell, mostly on his website. Though Doug technically didn't do anything wrong with the Cole Shave collection, it is appalling to most of us how the books turned out. It would be interesting to hear what Doug, speaking from his collector side, has to say about how the books look. I am hopeful somebody can ask him about this.

This sounds awesome and I would love to be a part of it! I just moved to the area recently, from Southern California, and this is just what I need! There isn't enough comic book related events going on around here!

Tomorrow is my wife's birthday and we've got previous engagements going on, but I would love to attend the next one and help out however I can. I'll keep an eye out on these boards! I'm looking forward to hearing about how this goes!

Thanks!
