Anyhooooo.... The art is amazing and the preview looks good. Although a mini I'm definitely giving it a try.

I was going to skip it until you posted this. The art is outstanding and looks like it would take a while to draw. It looks familiar but I've never heard of Qing Ping Mui. I still think its a weird idea but so are a lot of books I read.

Well not sure if zombies have jumped the shark but I picked a couple of #1's up of this book. (Subscription cover by Eastman and RI Cover featuring the President)

 

I thought the book was a great read and can not wait for issue 2.

 

It may be billed as Zombie Animals, but it has a great feel.

Also, being from Baton Rouge, I knew the restaurant reference and laughed out loud just to read it in a comic book.

 

Sleeper hit in my opinion.

The art is very good and keeping me reading more. The little kid is creepy almost Chuckie like. Zombie anything was not a read, but this was entertaining.

Very intricate artwork with lots of expressions. I really like the artwork and may enjoy reading because of it.

 

Zombies are all mindless creatures but can you imagine if a zombie animal comes after you? That premise alone should make this book desirable.

 

Can't wait for my shipment next week to check out all the great books that have come out this month.

Picked this one up for the art alone also - extremely detailed, very well drawn and coloured.

Haven't had the chance to read it yet, so don't know if I'll continue with the series.

I loved this book. Great read for any horror fan.

I wonder how well the Obama variant (not regular cover) will do in the long term. I expect it to drop under $10 after a year or so.

For those who missed it (issue #4 letters & issue #6 back cover):

There will be a second series to The Other Dead. It starts in Fall 2014. I haven't seen any confirmation but it will most definitely be limited (mini-series).
