I think the silver age is so tough because to leave off those Marvel keys would be criminal. Maybe you should have 2 categories, Silver early and Silver late.

 

Looking at everyone's lists the bronze appears to be the most consistent. IH181, ASM 129.

 

I'm shocked by those who like the cover of ASM122. I guess that's the book I personally dislike cause I feel I got ripped off aka "death green goblin".

Making the list out, I realized there is a big difference between those early Silver and the later ones. So there is only 5 that really are "Keys" IMHO (though I put 9 total)

The following list is my actual focus, meaning my collection will be complete when I get them all, and they will be the only comics I own. As a kid collecting in the 70's, I had near-complete runs of just about every Marvel title, although some of the keys were GRRs. My return to collecting is for the books I could not afford back then. In order of preference to me:

 

01. FF1 (had a GRR)

02. Hulk 1

03. AF15 (had a coverless copy)

04. ToS 39 (had one then, and the only one on this list that I currently own)

05. JiM 83

 

...but realistically 5 will not be enough, so...

 

06. XMen 1 (had one)

07. TTA 27

08. Avengers 1

09. Avengers 4 (have one now)

10. Spidey 1 (had GRR)

 

Pretty predictable list I guess, but those are the books I love!
