Digital Wonders

I think this may be interesting. I think we all either have access to or know how to access on the internet high quality scans of low quality books.

I would LOVE to see what folks can do with these. Just thought of this or I would have gone first - but it be past bedtime - in the next couple of days will post with results from one of the lamest editors around: Microsoft Photo Editor.

So if you be inclined, please post the original scan and your best shot at making it look like a higher grade.

I think this would be a most educational learning experience, as long as you all use the same scan pre and post! grin.gif

Not BAD!!!! The only thing I don't understand about this exercise is this: What happens if you actually auction off the book using the "processed" scan? What the heck would you send the winner? The book with the missing pieces, or a photocopy of the processed image? Could pose a problem trying to decide.

The only thing I don't understand about this exercise is this

You misconstrue me or I misconstrue you (catchy song title).

My only purpose for this exercise is to allow folks to see what various digital editing techniques look like.
