1st appearance of BROCK RUMLOW / CROSSBONES??

Looking for opinions on the first appearance of Brock Rumlow, aka CROSSBONES!

 

His first appearance seems a little muddy...

 

I have heard he makes an appearance in #359 - cant find him anywhere.

 

Overstreet / cgc list #360 as "1st appearance crossbones / brock Rumlow, but he is only in in these three(?) panels, thus isnt this a cameo?

 

 

He does not appear in #361, as far as I can find.

 

#362 he is on the cover, has multiple panels/pages, and names himself. I would consider this first full appearance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does cgc ever make a change when it comes to stuff like this? they list as 360 as "1st appearance" would hope it would change to add (cameo), and then 'first full appearance" added to 362.

Well, it is what it is and what it is, is the first full appearance which is usually but not always what most collectors end up looking for. As always, the market will decide.

Yes they do. See 1st appearance of Lady Deathstrike, the Maxx, etc.

 

If Crossbones were to become popular enough, and this was discussed in thorough detail, we would see a change if needed.

You still should care about Web 18, It's very hard to find high grade copies and is still important concerning the development of Venom.

No this is the third poster in the last 6 months that has brought this up. Personally I don't care either way, but usually once the market speaks its over.

No this is the third poster in the last 6 months that has brought this up. Personally I don't care either way, but usually once the market speaks its over.

 

And it seems the market ain't speaking at all on any of these books. At least not yet.
