It presents way better than the grade but the detached cover is a grade killer.

I quite agree, but when I posted my book earlier in some thread(maybe this one, don't remember), I took a lot of heat from boardies laughing at the ridiculous proportions and contortions of the boy and girl.  So, after further thought, the reason I like this cover is first of all, it takes me back to my stupid ways as a young pup. But to me, the standout quality to this cover is the feel to it.  You've got the frozen world out there, while in this one little bubble, things have gotten pretty darn hot.  So you've got extreme cold and extreme heat, separated by only the windshield

The proportions are weird now that you mention it. 

My local comic shop use to have a framed poster of this cover hung up next to the comic.  I'll have to drop in and see if he still has it. 

I wonder who would have made this into a poster?  It looks very dated, so maybe it's an old promo or something for stores? No idea. I'll take a picture if it's still there.

Just got this one. First LB Cole Western I’ve ever owned. Contents suk though. As much as I have always liked Leonard’s covers, in many cases, I stopped paying through the nose for them due to generally weak content. My PCH collection will probably always stay incomplete due to this.

I do like this cover though and the price was a no brainer for a Cole cover. And “Shock”, “Murder” and “Suspense” sure sucked me in...

It’s cool. Electric has stated in the past that not all scans are his. I don’t mind as his posts are very informative and enjoyable IMO!
