I still remember how captivated I was when I first saw this cover on the magazine shelf at the News Depot on Dundas Street in downtown London! That's what I love about collecting, the rush of memories I get.

Interesting. As a kid I didn't buy the DC Annuals because I didn't want reprints. I figured I was being ripped off by such laziness on the part of DC. I wanted new stories! As a result, when I first started collecting comics again as an adult in 1979, I didn't go after the Annuals because I was concentrating on those comics I had or wanted as a kid.

 

About ten years ago though I enlarged my palate to include Giants and I now love them all - DCs, Marvels and the rest!
