Yeah it’s the battle ax title That I saw on eBay that intrigues me the most. I joked with my wife about the cover of the battle ax book, so that’s a pairing that I would definitely like to pick up eventually.  In general I think it would be awfully cool to have some of these pairs.    Thanks for posting. More for the want list.

New pick up.  Seller's photo.  I read a blurb about how it's a neat optical illusion that the head of the kneeling girl appears to be detached.

Nice book but yeah that's like some Liefeld body geometry :whatthe:

Picked off a few more Quarter Books. Both are Rodewald covers. I love the color palette on Wild Passion.

Like how the dress matches the lettering. Makes me think they were done together

This one is one is newer than the stuff I usually chase. But it has a fridge magnet  celebrating it.  What’s weird is there are 8 new ones listed on Amazon.  Maybe someone found a horde?  This one is used.

Could be a horde but I suspect it's more likely a mistake, or a reprint. I've seen a few vintage paperbacks reprinted in a look that is close to the original. Someone did that with Marihuana, although granted, they didn't use the old copyright date or charge $95.

https://www.amazon.com/Marihuana-Drug-Crazed-Killer-at-Large/dp/487187611X/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?dchild=1&keywords=marihuana+"william+irish"&qid=1591292552&s=books&sr=1-1-fkmr0

I'd be skeptical at minimum.

Nice pick-up! Anytime you can find an early D series in condition, it's a great score. (thumbsu

Yup (thumbsu It was the nicest copy of this book i've seen and was able to bundle it in with a few auction wins :)

I have been debating what direction to take next for my PB collection, but in the meantime I did pick up these two sci-fi books recently.

That Asimov is a pretty sweet book.  I can’t tell you what to collect, but there is a really sweet paperback version of Asimov’s “I Robot” that would look really good next to this book. The art style and space suits are similar.  It’s a fairly rare book so I may be giving you a quest for something that may not exist in the marketplace right now, but you will know it when you see it.  I tried to buy a copy of it but the seller accidentally sent me the wrong version and did not have the correct one.

edit:  found two on eBay. It’s spendy.

Especially this one!  Anybody think the figure on the cover looks familiar?

Great book!! This is one of the last handful I need for the first fifty or so Avons. I know I'm unlikely to ever find or pay up for the puzzle book, but I'm not really a completist at heart, so it's okay if I don't complete them. Still, to be so close...
