I got Faithfully Yours and this one in a old book shop a long time ago, just digging in boxes of paperbacks. I left behind another Cole cover too because I thought it was boring. It was just a candle and a window or something, I forget.

Cool! As Mr Loaf so aptly put it... 2 out of 3 ain't bad  That's probably where the remaining copies are (in boxes in old shops and homes) I am sure these particular digests did not sell well, were reprints, were cheaply printed... a recipe for cancellation. They're collectible because they're Cole and current info is so poor that you might still turn up copies un-noticed. But that is not gonna happen often because there probably is not that many hidden from the market.

Killer shape & colors on that Pat. Love the Julian Paul covers on these early Pyramids. I've quietly been working on them and also  just got a few in. The Swamp Girl is Paul also and the best copy of the first print i've ever seen. 118 is Paul and 116 is Victor Olson with a very similar palette.

@Pat Calhoun sharing of his Dodd Mead books is proving infectious. My copy of the 1925 edition of Penguin Island with illustrations by Frank Pape just arrived. In addition to the illustrations, the solid binding and gold colored lettering proved too irresistible to resist.

Well, amigos, this week kind of got off the rails.  I had a whole plan to post arrivals from each day and instead, here we are.  I'll catch up one day at a time.  This was Tuesday!

It's beat but complete and was kind of cheap.  Also, classy.

Next, my new favorite subcategory- Popular Giants.  I love those thick little guys!

Followed by a very nice upgrade of a classic Frazetta cover...

And last, this lovely gem of a book with it's crazy cover and even crazier story...  I give you The Haploids!

Then, Wednesday happened and these little gems found their way to my hacienda!

First, a classic story about teenage hijinx.

Then another Phantom.  Closing on this sweet little set!

And last, a classic Belarski pulp cover.  Who doesn't love a cigarette lady that's actually a gun moll!!

And today, Thursday, the magic happened!  I nice little package arrived from Graham Holroyd with these fine additions!  

Pyramids are pretty tasty

And a Popular Library with an awesome classic cover!

And my nurse novel fetish is really getting scratched!

And one more nurse novel along with a super classic Maguire cover!  So much good stuff!

And finally, another Phantom!  Not high grade but it'll work as a placeholder for now.  Such a great George Gross cover!!

I wonder what tomorrow will bring!!
