As Paper Airplane pointed out in another thread with ASM 300 becoming more and more popular, and its rise to being one of the copper era keys its "amazing" that a thread for it hasn't been made yet, so I thought I'd take care of that. Show them if you got them!

I'd venture to say it's THE key of the copper age. Maybe TMNT. 1 and 1A.

Yeah, I can't see this issue falling off the map with its price tag. Especially in 9.6+ condition. Not enough of them to fill demand, despite people thinking there's a million ungraded copies out there to cover that demand. There's 7000+ graded, and only 7% in 9.8 is not enough. Now, NM 98 is just an anomaly. You would think that with over 1000 9.8's graded, the price would settle or even drop, but it just continues to creep upward. Eventually, it HAS to stabilize/drop due to those numbers. With ASM 300's popularity, and condition issues the NM 98 does not have, I have a hard time believing it (300) will drop below $600 again in 9.8. Just my pennies.

Why do you all keep talking about 7,000 (+)? That is so two weeks ago.

Dang. I was going by last years numbers. Last time I looked. Isn't that the most subbed book of all?

Surpassed the long-time big dog, and definitely passes up NM98 easily!

That 180 copies are "restored" astonishes and saddens me.

I though that too. But how many were previously signed by Todd McFarlane or Stan Lee that someone then wanted the book preserved in a CGC case?

Could be a large portion of those books.

Those should get a green label if signed on the cover and blue if signed on the inside.

Totally agree!

I saw this on Ebay recently. This would be a Qualified Label.
