By the way, I think it's important to bring this up. We need a couple more ASM 300 threads.

It needs to keep pace with the Mutants 98 and Man of steel 18 threads.

Don't you also have one of the ten 9.9's also? Would love to see a scan of it.

Here's my graded copy and I eventually plan on submitting my NM raw copy that I bought back in the early 90's for $25.

How about those 2.0s?

Yeah. I don't get those. Especially the restored 2.0 shown.

But look at Greg's Top 20 CGC Submission list.

Iron man 1 surprised me. The rest of the list didn't.

That's only because Copper Age books represent the perfect storm between massive HG availability and CGC prices realized.

Spider-Man books seems to bring the heat when it comes to most submitted.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-300-CGC-9-8-MARVEL-COLLECTIBLE-CLASSICS-CHROMIUM-1ST-VENOM-/291054556023?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item43c4341377 Do people think their bidding on a ASM 300, or is this chromium really worth that? I think it is a little deceiving to put ASM 300 in the title when its not, but he also puts collectible classics in the title also, and states its a reprint in the description so I can't really say he's scamming anybody. Any thoughts on price? (shrug)

It is obviously a Chromium cover. And the cover is based on ASM 300, so he does not seem to be trying to con anyone. Per GPA, the MCC Spider-Man #1 in 9.8 sells for about $500 and up.

It is a gorgeous book, and you have to have one in your hand to appreciate it. However, I still like the the MCC #2 even better.

It is a beautiful book, but I'm a bit mystified in the high prices for 9.8's. They've fallen a little over the past few months, but they're still very popular. It's in no way, shape or form, as condition sensitive as the OG.
