This  book was never discount ??? I don't understand why people even comment on this. I said it before if this book crashes they all do. Nothing from 1962 on comes close to it in value or desirability . Get over it. Our real estate market was supposed to cool off in Canada with hike in interest rates . They project 10% minimum price increase again!!!! Same thing here with comic. It's not coming down

Wow, a 5.0 for under $39K. 4.0's were selling for close to that price a year ago.  :whatthe:

The western used to be king and now it’s not. Spiderman will decrease in popularity someday. Maybe soon. I was standing in line at Baskin Robbins today outside of Houston and some kids were talking about how the didn’t like spiderman or fidget spinners anymore. One of the kids then tried to sell the other one some pornographic magazines.

No, these kids were definitely collectors. They obviously have their fingers on the pulse of the market and they say spidey is out.

They must've seen Homecoming then.

They had their fingers on something for sure and 3 guesses what was out.

The kids didn’t want the spidey birthday ice cream cake and there were several more with mold on them. Lots of them with mold .

Face it. The peak is over. The movies are terrible. The merchandising is stuck on the shelves. Nobody wants spiderman anymore.

lol That’s a pretty hard stance to take based on three kids from Texas and moldy cake but I’ve heard less educated statements out here so...

As for what I’ve seen it’s the complete opposite.  I have two boys and Spidey is the absolute king (although hulk is gaining ground).  Go down the hallways at their school and every other bag on the Wall is Spidey.  I also have three nephews ranging from 9 to 13 who also consider Spidey the man.

@Shaolingoat You’re from Texas...  What’re your thoughts on using anything from Texas as a metric???  Pretty sure I know the answer but will enjoy the response nonetheless.

You know damn well I'm not from Texas.  But during my 10 years in exile here, I've learned that any place that uses white gravy as a garnish can't be used as a metric for anything.
