I said I was out of the hunt for a lower end AF15, but then about a week ago took a shot up to around 8200 I think for a 2.0 on ebay and was third high bidder.

 

So not sure if I'm out or in the hunt now, I'm equivocal, depending I guess on what else I see first.

I am looking for a AF15 CGC7.0 or CGC7.5, it depends on the appeal of the book. If anybody has a lead...

^ There are an incredible number available apparently, but the ones I've found are all priced prohibitively imo. A guy with a nice copy priced at 44k (IIRC) just traded down his AF15 on the Board Only Sales forum.

he omitted to clarify that it was a 6.0 that was traded down, not a 7.0/7.5 but 3 for $44K each

7.0 was available for $44k about 1-1.5 years ago. Tried buying one recently and it seems to be at $60k for a nice eye appeal one

I tried without success, super nice eye appeal 5.5-$32k and super nice eye appeal 7.0 $60k. Ive concluded mc bad eye appeal vs good eye appeal no mc will swing 30 percent in value in the same grade. I dont need gpa to conclude this. This is from a collector that buys/sells and dedicates himself to studying the af15 market.

Wow on those prices. Im curious how much the following would go for. Used to own it and wondered how much it would be worth if I still had it. Years ago purchased just the pages of AF 15. No cover and not the other stories. Just the AF15 pages. I did get a copy of the cover made here on these boards. Did sell it a while ago. Again curious how much a single page is worth and how much for every page. No cover.

A 7.5 will likely be $67k-$75k now.
