Inaflash
The original art is superb. Electricmastro
Electricmastro
Lovelorn #17 (September, 1951) presents a great opportunity for anyone that wants to compare the art of Archie artist Sam Cooper with the art of his older brother, DC artist Paul Cooper. Both of their art in this issue isn’t too drastically different from each other, though Paul Cooper tended to be more detailed in drawing plants and general outside scenes than how his younger brother drew them. Popular Post C. Spaulding
I’m not sure of the actual rarity outside of the low count on the census but a pretty cool book using basically nothing but primary colors. Yeah, apparently Frazetta wasn’t too involved in the inking, as well as the color registration which somehow manages to make the romance art look less profound. jimjum12
What you may be referring to is the reproduction ... which was spartan back then. The platemaking process applied was likely of minimal quality. GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) Electricmastro

Tremendous pencils reduced to a pedestrian appearance. His panel of the girl in bed is incredible. Electricmastro

Some cool painted covers on those Ace Romance books (previously used on their Pulp magazines). Great pick up szav

I didn't like it nearly as much as this comic version. Bizarre. It's the same cover art (different title), but something about it bothered me. Not bizarre I prefer the comic book versions on these Ace romance covers to the pulp forms myself. Yorick
Popular Post Legion of Goom
I can't say this is the rarest by any stretch, but I don't think it's all that common, either. This cover is a classic for me, though pmpknface, comicjack, comicnoir and 2 others
Electricmastro
Ric Estrada apparently didn’t do any romance covers until 1968, though I felt these romance splash pages he did for St. John between 1952 and 1955 were still nicely done: jimjum12 and pmpknface
