Huzzah #1,published with a June 1979 cover date was the actual first appearance of Erma Felna by Steve Gallacci. So, in reality, this was the book that started it all!

 

I've been looking for this book for 30 years now. Proved harder to find than the infamous Albedo #0 Yellow edition, but now my early Albedo collection is complete!

You found the Holy Grail of all Albedo books I've herd talks about it few years back but never have I seen one !!! Congrats man, now I need to add this one to my bucket list BTW do you know the print run ?

No idea on the print run as it wasn't printed in the book. But, I believe it was technically a fanzine so I'd expect no more than 500 if that. Potentially only 100-500 copies, but no real idea. This is only the second copy I've ever seen.

 

The book was a lot thicker than I thought it would be - and a lot more Gallacci stories in it as well as other artists.

Fantastic artwork! I just loved how simple the backgrounds were in these stories, yet with enough details to help tell the story.

I picked up an Albedo Refractions #2 the other day. I've seen #3, but never a #1. I even checked Google for a scan/pic, but I couldn't find anything.

I just bought (albedo 2) one of the boards, cgc 9.0 ss, thanks to a boardie. It looks so nice in hand, i love it! I'll post pics when I get a chance (I'm just lazy).
