 Yes

Exactly!

I have to say, the Agent Smith replicants scenes were actually fun. And it was great seeing Ralph Dibny back.

Viewers of The Flash have already been acquainted with the young woman named Nora several times, as she managed to ingratiate herself into their lives posing as waitresses, coffee shop customers, and delivery agents beginning in "Crisis on Earth-X" last winter.

"Everybody guessed right for the most part," executive producer Todd Helbing admitted. "I think I've said this at one point that they haven't totally gotten it yet. It was basically right except for the name. They assumed that it was Dawn."

The "it" in question is the identity of the mysterious young woman who appeared at Barry and Iris's rehearsal dinner and quickly made fans suspicious of her identity and motives.

Most fans had leapt to the conclusion that the character, played by Jessica Parker Kennedy, would be Dawn Allen, Barry and Iris's daughter in the comics and one-half of the "Tornado Twins" along with her brother Don.

"We always like to introduce characters and sort of highlight areas that come from the comics but we don't want to be beholden exactly to them so we can change the stories as we see fit and tell it for a television show," Helbing told ComicBook.com. "With [Nora], it's the time that she comes from and what she did. She makes this sort of big mistake at the end of the episode -- you see the concern of what she's done, and Barry certainly learned his lessons from time travel, so now it's going to be interesting to put him on the different side of the problem and see how he can help her fix it."

Intriguing New Details on THE FLASH’s Big Bad For Season 5 Have Been Revealed

Quote

The 4th season finale of The Flash was less than 24 hours ago, and our friends at ThatHashtagShow already have a scoop on what could be in store for us in Season 5.

A character breakdown is for a “fractional series regular” named “Desmond Paull” though that is believed to be a fake name.

“Desmond” is a metahuman who, after a mysterious interaction with dark matter, was given not only immortality but also the gift to disable other meta-human powers. He blames metas for everything that has gone wrong in his life and because of that, his mission is to wipe Central City free of them in order to silence his own anguish.

ThatHashtagShow thinks that this could be a call for David Hersch a.k.a. “Cicada”.

A synopsis of Cicada from the DC Wiki shows how much potential there would be for the character:

After murdering his wife, David Hersch, sick with regret, sought to end his own life, when he was struck by a bolt of lightning. He discovered that he had gained the ability to absorb the life-force of others, extending his life-span almost a century. He believed the accident was the same as the Flash’s and that they should be linked. The lightning bolt gave him a vision of his own immortality and foretold the resurrection of his wife. Over the subsequent years he operated as the cult leader Cicada, accumulating many followers planning for the day he would resurrect his wife.

That is a perfect villain for The Flash: Powerful, personal, and emotional. They can definitely make that work.

I loved the Matrix homage too. I wonder which Harrison Wells we’ll see next season?

I enjoyed the show for most of the season, but that was more to do with the characters than the plot.

They need to reduce the episodes and increase the quality of the writing.

Have to agree. Although I also have to admit Nora can destroy a timeline worse than Barry ever could.
