Isn't this one of the main reasons a 3rd-party grading company was created?

No, they're just annoying because I've just started collecting for investment purposes and I know the difference between a 9.6 and  a 9.2 and you can switch books out of slabs so easy and scam investors. Investors like me, who just bought their first graded comic

Huh? Who is annoying?

I meant the grading companies were created to help two separate parties determine the grade of a comic.

Are you saying Hector switched books? This is kind of all over the place.

I'm referring to my own experience from ebay user ryankee15

Which you can see on the previous page

I started to Block the Bid Retractors as well.

Don't let them off-the0hook - they will PM/email you begging to be removed and will swear on their grandkids graves that they

will pay - they won't.

I had a hard time years ago with "robtothec" he kept buying my IMSMs and would not pay. I gave him

a 2nd chance as he had a surprisingly high eBay Feedback score( slightly higher than mine at that time).

Buys again then starts to return game - not as described. I know he frequents this Forum and if he does not

see this post Stu & others( I know who they are) will contact him and tell him.

So today I have ANOTHER slickster who thinks he is going to out-slick CAL:

"boomverse".

And for you Socialist clowns out there that want your "proof" as CAL's words are no good:

I'm still trying to figure out what this has to do with Socialists.

Purchased a book, and didn't pay within the specified 3-day period. Then I sent an invoice. No payment or communication for another 3 days. Sent another invoice, and after another few days without payment or communication opened a non-paying case,

Suspicious seller at best jajoh-775

I won an eBay auction on Sunday night for an ASM 16 4.5 OW for $355.53. The seller had only 5 feedback so I sent a message on Sunday night to make initial contact. No communication for four days. I sent a message today to find out when it would be shipped.

Received this message and a refund "This item was stolen from my vehicle. I thought I lost it, but I found a complete box of books is missing. Please, request a refund and will return you funds. Sorry, I have been scrambling trying to figure this out the last few days."

Who keeps a $500 slab plus "a box of valuable comics in their car? Could the car have been broken into? Perhaps. I find the circumstances suspicious.

This seller is still at it.  Sold the exact same book, ASM Annual #1 CGC 0.5, three times (so far):

April 3 - $2,300

April 17 - $1,323

May 1 - $930

I'm thinking at least 2 or 3 more relistings until it actually sells to a real person.

I have this buyer who i sold a sealed polybag Ultimate Fallout 4, opened a case because the item was not as described.

item was sent to a 3rd party presser who opened the polybag and is now requesting a return.

Thanks , i sold many UF4 poly and i plan to sell more . I am gonna block him now.

On the other hand , you sold him a sealed comic book . If he states that he opened the bag he is changing the item condition so Ebay could side with you

I can't even wrap my brain around this. Is he blaming you that the bag was opened by the third party presser that he sent it to?
