Another artist who did so many great covers, so it's nearly impossible to choose a single cover as his best. His St John romance covers, the best of them at any rate, which are the ones he inked as well as drew, are surely the clearest demonstration of his mastery.

Ive never seen this cover before.. its hilarious ...just the right expressions

 

I also like the Terrific over Suspense 3...

A lot of great Barks covers to choose from, but I think this one captures well the spirit he brought to the WDC&S covers and stories.

 

I love Walt Kelly, but I think that his covers reflect too well the mayhem of the DD movie shorts -- perhaps the editors asked him to. I don't think that approach fits modern tastes and sensibilities.
