Cool thread!

I am a big Everett fan and was great to see this kicked off by an Everett...so here is mine:

Love the Atlas stuff as well - still working on the comics but very little art out there...so this cover with Venus is that much more dear to me

Oh my. Want.

Bob Kane, with a little help from Shelly(my favorite cover of his that I own. Of course, I'd go with Tec 31 or 35 if I had one).

Bernard Bailey's weirdest and most underrated horror cover(I'd pick a More Fun for his absolute best, but I don't own any).

Lou Fine. Tough choice between these two.

Excellent choice of the Hit 7 with the skull overlay....

Fine is my guy and Mysterymen 3 is the #1 book for me. I know he is shooting a gun (and not doing something "exotic") but look at the lyrical movement brought to the static page........Ready for a "shock", I have never been smitten with the Fantastic 3 or National 7.....runner up would be WW7 (with the "ghoul drool" and Science 2, note that Hit 8 also brings movement to the static page.....and Jumbo 10 which was one of my early Fine covers that made me a fan of his.....jb

I have a hard time choosing the "best" by any of my favorites, and the ranking often is a function of whether or not I own the book. That being said, I think the run of Science 2-4 is unique in that each cover is one of my favorites by 3 different artists (Fine, Tuska, Simon).
