Price Tag Removal

7 posts in this topic

The first thing I would try is a hair dryer. I've collected vintage action figures and had some experience removing price stickers. The heat will sometimes allow you to easily remove the sticker.

I've also used Goo Gone with great success. While this dd not leave a visually noticeable trace on the paper/cardboard, I cannot however vouch for whether it leaves a trace that can be picked up on a more exhaustive resto check. I've just moistened a q-tip or paper towel and slowly worked over the sticker. Once you get a corner up, just slowly work on the adhesive underneath.

From what I've seen lighter fluid leaves staining on the paper. I've never used it myself, so I can't determine if it was the liquid itself or using too much of it.

Hope this helps.
