I still haven't found a Wolvie 75 blue yet. I have found one blue of each except Wolvie, Excalibur, and X-factor.
They are not easy to find all, but its such a great feeling when I find one.

If you haven't found one yet, they are still floating around on Ebay - I think around the $40 price range, probably a little lower. Not a valuable error, but at least now it's got people who know they are out there!

Good to see. Since that quote I have found 2 copies. One clear blue and the other a blue green. I can't imagine how many I've looked at buts it's a fun chase book.

Got my Wolvie Blue and found an Excalibur blue also but the X-Men 25 is just blank. Solid black gloss with no image. Anyone seen another?

This seems to be the original thread but I was wondering if this is considered a blue hologram variant. I found this yesterday, and its VERY BLUE in the middle but the edges are green... Is this still considered as the blue variant?  I was thinking about submitting it to CGC because it a beautiful copy.

my take... as ive bought a blue type hologram.... error copies state "distorted hologram" not blue... I figure if the material is cold enough it might turn blue....

Wait, so you think that all the green holograms can become distorted due to temperature?

I dunno... I have a “blue” one if I mess with it it’ll turn green... if it’s been lying untouched I believe it’ll stay blue... I was trying to figure it out after I bought it on eBay... at the same token I compared it to the other books with similar holograms yes they are green yellow or whatever... but I was not convinced about it being a “blue” thing... the labels state “distorted” while my slabbed book was blue it was not listed any different... the errors state “distorted hologram”...

Here’s my copy.  Don’t remember when I got it.  Definitely not a 9.8, has some scratches on the hologram, blunted top left corner and a spin tick.  But nonetheless it is mine, hahahahaha.

The standard holograms on the front of the Fatal Attractions seres issues reflect green and yellow/orange as their primary colors.  The Wolverine 75 with the blue hologram often doesn't show any picture; only the outer edges of the hologram show a deep blue reflection. See picture of my issue:

Thanks!  So why does my have deep blue in the middle and green in the periphery?

It's my understanding that, as the blue hologram covers constituted an entire defective print, which is why they were recalled (or so I've heard).  As such, it would make sense that there are degrees of defectiveness among those holograms, ranging from issues like mine which are basically 80% black, and yours, which is according to your description not quite as bad, adding up to more like 50% right, 50% wrong.  Just my guess.

Hey guys! This Nate, co-owner of Universal Comics in Arbutus Maryland. I just got one of these and in my googling to figure out what the heck was going on I found this thread. Thanks for explaining!

Mine is totally blue black. You can see there is SOMETHING in there but not even that it is our adamantium boned buddy. 

If anyone wants it, swing by my shop or shoot the shop an email. It's easily in the upper 9s.
