Silver
Action 267 and 276 and Superboy 86 and 89 are important key LSH issues that preceded Adventure 300. 1950's war comics
steelcity
All pre Adventure #300 Legion issues are interesting. Scattered through a number of different titles they are all examples of classic SA DC storytelling, with some iconic covers, too. Not easy to put together a nice run. No nice runs from me, but I do have all but the first Legion appearance. I posted these last year in this thread, but figured I would do a repeat. Here are some beat-but-complete, Legion appearances (according to Overstreet) 2-10.

Stevenrams
Thanks for posting these great issues in sequence. A real treat to see them so. Agreed. Love the Superboy issue. I always enjoy a great purple cover and the colors on your copy still are very vivid. Two great stories in that issue, I believe. Thanks for sharing. jmg3637
Thanks for posting all of those early appearances in one place. I had to go back to my check lists and found I was missing three of them. I will have to rectify that. In the meantime here are a few more from my childhood OO collection

Silver
How about some cool LSH appearances outside of Action and Adventure:
jmg3637
Thanks for posting these. I was thinking of asking if anyone had a list of other silver age appearances outside Adventure. I just went to mycomicshop, com and added the 3 early appearances i was missing to my want list. they had two in stock, very reasonably priced, but low grade. I just traded several hundred books to them for 32 of my missing four colors and even knocked a classics off my want list. They seem to have the best online inventory of any dealer. While the above may be a plug, the real one is that i am a trading partner with MCS, and if you are a first time buyer and sign up through the link in my sig line I will get a small percentage. I think I added the link a coupe iof years ago with no response, So now i want to push it and see if any body responds. If you link and buy through my affilate, I will send you a book or books worth at least 1/2 of whatever I get from them. I will use the credit to obtain a Four Color and add you to my ever growing thank you list. Back to scanning. not spamming Early Adventure Legion books. Not from my OO period. steelcity
Pleased to read you have added to your Legion books. Thanks for posting more Adventures. #307 can be a tough find. The three Olsens that Silver posted have a great nostalgia factor and for many years they could be bought at little cost, even in nice shape. For years I thought I must be about the only one collecting Legion books. I was very glad when the boards showed me that was not the case. In fact Silver and I have very similar collections though bought totally independently.
Silver
Ian's being modest... More LSH goodness: While not on the cover...Trip Girl, Phantom Girl and Shrinking Violet are in a story in this issue: Saturn Girl in this one: While maybe not technically a LSH book, this is one of the best WF stories of the SA: LSH appearances in Superboy after 93: Ultra Boy: LSH app: Tough issue to find in high grade and commands high pries when it does show up:
