Is there a thread about it?

I just finished Volume One of the two volume omnibus slipcase edition.

It was great. :cloud9:

Yeah, it's right up your alley.

It's a great series. Loved it.

Did you read it new? How much did you read?

I believe this set covers everything published.

& yes, it was written for me. :D

No, I read it in trades. It's been so long, I don't remember how far into the series I got. I had 8-10 of the trades at the time I read it. Couldn't tell you exactly b/c I gave them all away (I think in the Xmas raffle).

It was at least 10 years ago that I read them.

SiP is one of the best series I've ever read. I just finished binging on all 14 TPBs. :luhv:

Francine. :luhv:

I'm about 75% of the way through the entire thing.

It's a lot of fun.

Not too long ago, I wanted to upgrade my TPBs to either a Omnibus HC version or pick up the individual HCs when they popped up cheap. I found a seller on eBay that had all 10 volumes...and he was a local guy so we were able to work out a deal for a lower price with cash in hand. :acclaim:

I found out who the guy was via his eBay name - he's an older guy and an author. I went to his house and met he and his wife. Really friendly guy and he showed me his impressive collection of HC, Absolutes, Omnibuses, etc. We still keep in touch via email occasionally.

This was the coolest part of the set...

Volume 1 is signed and sketched! :cloud9:
