I couldn't find a thread for this, so hope it fits here!

 

SET: Wolverine Through the Ages

 

I believe all of the books that should be in the set are the "variant edition". It appears that several of the book slots are allowing the regular cover, not the variant.

 

I just tried to add Cable & X Force #9 Variant (1172101022) to the set and it was rejected. That prompted me to look at the rest of the books and realize there might be an issue with several titles in the set.

 

For example, the Savage Wolverine #6 accepts (0215154025) but that is the regular cover; the Wolverine Through the Ages cover is #1183700011 (Perkins Variant).

A request is helpful, unfortunately there are too many new titles to keep track of and I also try to keep up with grading, too.

to the X-Men (1963) (Complete Including Variants) set. It would likely be noncompetitive tho since it was a Marvel Legends Reprint. But I would love to add it to my registry set.

The original warp elfquest set is broken. You are missing issues, and putting incorrect labeling information on at least one issue. The set should be as follows:

 

For issues 1 through 4, there were four printings. First printing had $1 cover price. 2nd printing was $1.25. BOTH the third and fourth printing had $1.50 cover price, but on the fourth print, the price was down by the spine instead of being up by the logo. (The fourth prints were printed nearly 10 years after the third prints, so it's a big difference.) For example, the following has a cgc label saying 3rd print, but it's actually the fourth print:

Elfquest 3 fourth print

 

Issue 5 had three printings, identified by cover prices of $1, $1.25 and $1.50

 

Issue 6-9 had two printings, identified by cover prices or $1.25 and $1.50.

 

I don't know if 10 had one or two printings. (I'm pretty sure it just had one.)

 

Issues 11-21 just had one printing.
