ASM Black Cat #1 9.8 at $1175 with 5 days left... :ohnoez: knew it was only a matter of time before people started aggressively tracking this book down...

Great cover! It really has skyrocketed in the past few years. What kills me is that I passed on it when I had the chance to grab it for $50 graded CGC 9.8.

I don't know... that 9.6 sold a little bit ago for a pretty penny and there haven't been any raws pop on eBay since... unless I missed them... in the 2 facebook buy groups I'm on there have been quite a few people asking to buy copies and haven't had any luck... and I've got quite a few random messages in the groups to buy 1 of mine, bit I'm not parting with them...

That one that sold for 150 and 200 is the same book... the seller canceled the buyers 150 transaction and resisted it for 200... which then sold...

Looks like it.

 

I've seen 8 distinct copies for sale in the last 3.5 months on ebay though. And that's just there. I know a few others who have pulled some copies from LCS'. I know multiple people whom are sitting on multiple raw copies. I've maintained the book isn't as rare as it looks on the census. The way many convention books are distributed can skew submissions low (ex. this book). Just as the way RRP books are distributed can skew them high (ex. Saga 1).

In case you haven't heard, looks like JSC has a new store exclusive for ComicXposure. The cover is for Spider-Gwen #9 and it sure looks great from the prelims on their site.

 

 

I ordered mine a couple of days ago, as soon as I heard! Here are the color and B&W versions together

I've ordered from them a couple of times in the past and had no issues. I had an ordered cancelled once because they listed it wrong but when the eventually got back to me via email it was all good

Really bummed guys. I submitted my guardians of the Galaxy 4 cgc 9.8 to be cracked and signed by Campbell . Book is coming back a 9.2 SS. Don't really need this grade in my collection. Since I'm OCD. So if anyone has a 9.8 SS they want to get rid of send me a PM.

Wow their stricter grading continues. Maybe you could dispute it like another board did. They increased the grade on his two books. Not to the original grade but an increase from their second grade.

Lesson learned for me. I will never crack a 9.8 blue for a signature again,

 

Thankfully the 510 color 9.8 blue label I sent to be signed retained grade.
