The sets are still available on his website. Kinda surprised they haven't sold out yet, as there are only 1500 copies of covers C and D. Is it the book itself? Maybe demand for his books really is starting to go down in general?

2pm PST and the sets are still available.  If it's not the art...it's the down market...or the virus...or the fact that he's charging $130 for the unsigned set.  Honestly, $130?  No thanks.

I thought long on this one and decided to pass... $130 is too much imo even when the discount code gets you to $110. After tax and shipping you're back at 130

These releases are just too frequent and now that his store has a preferred facilitator/partner and grades their own books, it's tougher to get 9.8 candidates for the personal collection.

I love his art but starting to get fatigue on all the releases. Bring it back to just 2 or 3 cover releases that were just 50 or 60 bucks (yea... it's been a while since those  )

Midnight and all varieties of sets are still available.  When was the last time that was the case?  I guess he'll just have them at his booth whenever cons start again.  But hopefully he reconsiders the prices of his books and pares it back a little bit.

Either someone got a deal (also on the february 9.8 sale) or this crashed hard. (down 30% from its highs, if I recall, of $3K).

I was very surprised with the final price. I was tempted to make a bid,  but I can't afford spend 2 k right now.

Thanks man! Yeah I just started collecting his stuff a few months ago so I am right there with you. Black Cat has always been one of my favorite characters and I love the way he draws her.

(for the record, I have a weakness for blondes.  I also like the contrast in the two pieces, both the fact that they're facing away from each other (b/c all he did was flip the art digitally) and more importantly, the color contrast.  Red and blue.  Black and White.  It's still lazy (as far as lazy can be concerning his work...still takes more effort that i'll ever put into it...you know what i mean), but I suddenly like it.)
