Thanks guys. I compared this copy to the CGC 7.5 on HA and this is definitely a better copy. Terrific eye appeal, tight staples. I am hoping to pull an 8.5.

Nice copy, but if that's a color breaking crease running from Superman's thought balloon to the yellow moon, I'm doubtful it will make it to 8.5.

I agree. The book certainly has 8.5 characteristics but that crease is the biggest concern. I suspect an 8.0 will be given.

That is one of the nicest copies I have seen! I'd say 7.5 with a shot at a 8.0.

I compared this copy to Our Army at War #81. Both copies have the same purple cover that has easy telltale defects.

 

I am surprised how nice the book's condition is. Two creases that will result with 7.5 or 8.0. That is the best grade I could give it out.

There is also a significant crease on the back cover.

OK. So its graded and I should get the book by tomorrow and I have to say that I am very disappointed. Thought at a minimum it would grade out at 7.5 compared to the 7.5 at Heritage. Maybe they found something that I missed.
