People have been saying this for years...maybe decades? Wonder if their day will ever come. Think about the “mega” DC’s...

I was watching a minor DC last night. A beautiful CGC 5.0 Tales of the Unexpected 40. Closed at $86.

Since I got back into collecting Silver Age books in 2000 I've been hearing DCs are long overdue for price increases... :smile:

This is true too. The dc sa books really shot up in the 90s, while marvel was dormant, but nothing since then save a few key issues here and there

If anything DC modern books are starting to move. Though again it's just a few highligts here and there.   The two big titles have all the movement in the GA.

Did My Greatest Adventure 80 bump up with the Doom Patrol show? Time to sell or worth hanging onto?

Dang. Sounds like people liked the show. Might just hold onto it for a while.

Avengers 43 seems to be heating up. Raws over a month ago were $20-30 in the VG/Fine range. Now they seem to be pushing $60-90

A CGC 9.2 sold a few days ago for $400...now asking prices of 9.2's on Ebay are $1700

A CGC 9.0 sold in June for $212.50....one sold two days ago for $975

A CGC 8.0 sold in May for around $130...bids on one currently with 6 days left are already at $202

Appears to be getting some love due to the characters upcoming appearance.

It was a toss up if I should put this here or in the movie subforum, but does anyone know if the price hikes on Strange Tales 158 are in fact due to a leak that the Living Tribunal is going to make an appearance in Dr Strange 2? It seems like somebody knows something, rather than just general speculation, since for example ST 138 is the first appearance of Eternity, and it hasn't budged.

There was the mention that they had a scene with the Living Tribunal originally planned for Infinity War, so that might be the cause of it, too.

I think it is the Black Widow movie.

@Callaway29 @Bird Thx guys!

Might not hurt to grab some Defenders 36, too -- first app of the second, female Red Guardian -- the first one's wife. It's a dirt-cheap guess to make.

Black Widow movie

Harbour needs to hit the gym. Unless Disney is going with the balding middle-aged dad bod version of red guardian. Great actor though for sure....I guess there’s always CGI...
