Given the actors they had it would have been great to see Jason David Frank as the green/white ranger in this type of setting. Given how much he has reprised the roll in other mediums it would have been nice.

POWER RANGERS Fan Film Removed From YouTube By Saban

In only five days, the hotly debated bootleg fan film, "Power/Rangers", has been pulled from YouTube after a request from rights holder, Saban. Director Joseph Kahn was not happy about the decision, tweeting: Saban just pulled POWER/RANGERS off Youtube. Bad day for free speech, fair use, and Fandom in general.

It's Morphin Time! Check Out The Action-Packed First Trailer For The POWER RANGERS Reboot

 

Quite a bit earlier than we expected, the first trailer for Saban's Power Rangers reboot has debuted over on the movie's official Facebook page. Fans thought they were going to have to wait until the New York Comic Con panel later on today, but you can get your first look at the new team of heroes in action right now.

Being a teaser trailer, most of this is setting the story up, but we do get a few shots of the team preparing to kick , and there's also a glimpse of Elizabeth Banks' Rita Repulsa and Jason/Red Ranger suiting up right at the end.

 

It actually looks quite dark and action-packed.
