Ya you are right could be. I just wasn't sure he was doing sketches. I know he wasn't at the Fan Expo in Canada because he was way too busy, but maybe RI wasn't as busy.

I hope prices come down some, would love one but I am only in at about $200 lol

He was doing them there because the one guy I know picked up two, but I don't think they were cheap to begin with.

Justin was charging $40 a signature, and $100 a sketch w signature at Rhode Island CC.

So how does this work with a CGC SS yellow label? I am not too familiar with the process, you still need to have a witness with you correct? Was/is Roiland doing sketches on site, or were they pre-done beforehand?

I remember visiting Kevin Eastman in 2015 and he had done a bunch of blank sketches before his appearance in his hotel, will a CGC witness still recognize this action as a legit yellow label if he/she didn't actually witness the sketch but came from the creator anyways? Like the example with Eastman doing them before in his hotel? Seems like such a gray area when it comes to this. Or maybe its just me.

Prices on CGC sketch for Roiland have come down quite a bit.

Stuff dating back to October was in the $500-$700 range.

Now stuff is in the $200-$300 depending if Harmon is on there too or if they are colored.

ea

Roiland was doing them on onsite.  The witness does not need to witness the sketch being done they just need to be there when you pick it up from the artist.

For anybody still trying to get a real legitimate copy of The Good Morty they are still out there. Recently got this on ebay for only $12.99. Original bluray release sealed with original sticker advertising the comic inside. Clearly the seller didnt know what he had but for those looking to get one and dont wanna get stuck with a fake, they are still out there!

Do you know if The Good Morty came in all S1 BluRays or only ones labeled like yours with "Comic Book Inside!"

There's a huge debate about The Good Morty comic and i believe there's a whole website devoted to all the different versions. My personal belief is that they were only included in the first batches of the bluray and dvd that had the sticker on the front ONLY. I have yet to see a legitimate copy of The Good Morty comic come out of any other set except the ones labeled with the sticker which were only the first batch released back in 2014. Again thats my personal belief and im sure there are people that would argue with me about it. But i would suggest to anybody looking to get a real legitimate copy to find a version of the bluray or dvd that has that sticker on the front.

Very good, thank you! Still a unicorn, but something else to watch for at a reasonable price.

Recent shill bidding pointed out by @IntoAnother from the same bidder previously mentioned was scrubbed from the Comics General topic for some reason.

By any chance does anybody know where to get the Mike Vasquez Hulk 340 homage variant for Rick and Morty #38? I see it on Amorphous Ink but i recently had a very bad experience with them so i would like to avoid purchasing anymore comics from them. If anybody knows where it's exclusive to i would greatly appreciate it.

Haven't seen a R&M 38 with a hulk 340 homage but there is a R&M #36 with a Hulk 181 Homage.  I think Frankies comics did it.  I know the raws sold out quickly but they had CGC slabbed 9.8's for a reasonable price still available about a month ago.

Yes i have the 181 homage. The one i am talking about i posted the link to below. The more and more i have looked it seems it might just be a variant from Amorphous. I guess i am going to have to order it through them...

I know this is an old post, but I've been waiting to acquire a Rick & Morty 1:50 Roiland Variant for sometime now. Any idea if the shilling has stopped? I recently saw a 9.6 sell for $836 (link below). Is this as good as it gets? Was hoping for a 9.8 at that pricing...

There were three sales of 9.8s this month. All around $2,000.

The problem with all the shilling is that one person was bidding up all the books to a point but not winning them. We don't really know what the value would be if that had not happened. Maybe 9.8s would only be $500. Know way to know for sure. Looks like it will probably stay in that $1,500 - $2k mark for the immediate future considering the popularity of the show.
