Pre-slab.

 

Looked at both slabs today, and there is a clear difference between the staples. Modern ones are super thin, and the vintage ones are really thick. Not even close to being the same. Not sure if I can get a good pic with them being in the slab, but honestly, if the staples look like anything less than 1/8 wide, it probably isn't vintage.
