Selling Silver and Bronze comics - 50% off Overstreet

42 posts in this topic

Wow! Thanks for the great report, Kramerica. Great doing business with you. You've got a pretty amazing memory.

I'm just getting back to this thread after dealing with some monumental lifecrap the past few weeks. I'm still selling books, and I'm going to make everything available except the Starlins. That includes most of the ASMs from 122 to 150, and a number of Byrne X-Men, as well as some early Cockrum X-Men. ASM 122-127 aren't as high grade, but the rest are all NM/NM+. I also have a lot of Conans. Most from 1-22 in F/NM- and 37-60 in NM-/NM+.

I've also decided to part with the autographed DD #168, and an autographed dd #179, but at guide. The rest are at 50% off like before.

Regards

Here's a list of early Cockrum and Byrne X-books I have for sale. Kramerica has been out here, and went over my X-books to verify grading.

Other than the #94, I only listed books at 9.0 or better. All of these but the 105 and 106 I bought myself off the rack, and had a habit of getting them the day they came out, and taking the most flawless copy after looking at every one in the pile. I paid special attention to spine and staple alignment.

The #94 has great eye appeal, with a few minor issues that kept it from being a true NM, but it's a very strong VF+ The #95 is a real prize, and you will be hard pressed to find a #137 squarebound that is this sweet.

I have doubles on a couple of issues, and indicated them with asterisks.

95 -- 9.4

96 -- 9.0

Thanks!

I can attest to these grades guys. If anyone buys that #95 and doesn't agree that it is 9.4 I'll call them silly. Many of you are familiar with my grading and can attest to it. I graded all of these about 2 weeks ago on my trip down there. Most of these would be in my possession but I'm at least a week or two from making any more purchases. My whole cash flow is tied up at CGC right now with 60 BA books (that I purchased from Sudden Sale ironically). So to be honest yes, these grades are on. If you don't buy them I will eventually. PS: Most of the 144 to 200 are 9.6 or better.

Here are some ASMs I've got. These are all 9.4 or higher, using the standards Kramerica and I were using for the X-Books. I don't trust my own eye enough to call a book a 9.6 rather than a 9.4, but these are of the same vintage and were handled with the same care as the X-Books above, as well as other books Kramerica has purchased from me.

I also have most of the books in the gaps between 185 and 271, and they'll mostly be 9.2s. Maybe a 9.0 here or there.

Thanks

Hey guys, after thinking things over and considering my situation, I need to make a big move with these books. I've been working with a few of you to set up some things by mail, and that's great, but I need to move a little quicker.

Make that a lot quicker. I'm motivated to sell, even if it means flipping this stuff over to the LCS, though I dread that.

I've been asking 50% of Overstreet (Wizard in a few cases), but I'm prepared to do even better for anyone in the SoCal Area who can get here tonight or tomorrow, and pay in cash. As you can see from the accounts of CGC posters here, I've got a lot of high grade comics, and everyone's been very happy.

Did I say that I was motivated to sell?

Seriously, PM me for my phone number. Looking forward to doing business with you.

Regards,
