Haven't been checking this thread lately.  Nice pick-up Steve!  There's rarer KDF issues, but I found this one and V2#5 to be tough (for me).  Does the label say Cream!?!

Any reason for this punative grading on what visually (front cover only of course) appears to be a much nicer copy, or is this just CGC's new normal when it comes to CGC over tightening the screws on their grading since it was just graded a couple of months ago?

Haha, yes it does! There is heavy foxing on the inside, so CGC is accurate in this case.

KDF 2#8 is pretty tough, and this copy looks so nice, I can live with it.

With Centaurs, I've slowly learned you need to adjust to what's available, otherwise it may be a while before you see another!  My V2#8 must lower grade (Ruben's cold copy), but am very happy to have it

Finally found a V2#5 that fit my needs and almost my budget - little higher grade than I normally get, but you'd like the PQ!
