The first 6 issues of Star Comics were published by Chesler, and were magazine sized. The next 3 issues (7-9) have indicia of Ultem Publications, before Centaur took over with issue #10.

Speaking of "rare", you have the Star 8 (scarce) but are missing the Star 9 (New Year 1938 cover)?

as rare as the rest...they are all pretty much tough imo...heck, star 11 wasn't even pictured in the gerber, yet 2 have fairly recently sold

Judging by the code on the back cover, I think that might be an "INT" issue. I have seen a few books from that collection floating around, including my Headline 8.

early Chesler with wonderful Ryan art and a Church copy to boot.....the oversized high grades are always neat....

That's a cool book (and one I'm missing - 2#2, 2#3, , 2#5).
