Dallas Fan Expo (Dallas Comicon) -- June 3-5, 2016

Oh, I see two different dates now.

 

If it's June 3-5, same weekend as WW Philly, and they will probably get the hot celebrities. Just like how they got David Tennant and Dallas couldn't.

Yes. The dates on the re-up paperwork circulated at the con were wrong (the original 5-7 dates were Sun-Tue). They announced the corrected dates over the PA. You just responded before I posted the correction.

So, Phoenix Comic Con, Fan Expo Dallas, and WW Philly will take place on that same weekend. Great...

 

Philly seems to be dying a slow death. Phoenix is on the upswing, but the CGC guys I talked to at the show said they had much more volume at Dallas than the crew at Phoenix did. They were pleasantly surprised at how strong this show was for submissions and SS.

Philly sucks big time for artist alley and comic guys but the thing is, media wise they get what Dallas can't get. The BIG names like David Tennant, Matt Smith, etc. So whoever is the hot name in the circuit next year, chances are he will go to Philly instead of Dallas.

 

Phoenix is a private show so really who knows how they do, but I heard artist alley guys have a great time there.
