I Need Some Help Identifying An Artist

Hi guys, I have had these three art pieces for some time now and I actually forgot I had them but I'm not sure who the artist is. They are signed Carl along with a date. The artworks are large, approximate 16" x 24" and done in black marker on thick strathmore paper. I appreicate any help identifying who the artist is.

They could be by an amateur fanboy since he signs the art with his first name. In my opinion the quality of the art is not that bad, I've seen worst sketches with known artists. Thanks for the input.
