Census data shows only 40 unrestored copies, mostly low grade but where are the higher grade copies hiding?

Its long been known as a really tough book in unrestored hg. From everything I've ever heard for sure tougher than action 1 in unrestored hg.

Would be curious to see what a high grade copy sells for

I was surprised at that two. The census has exploded :o

Its gotta be a 250k book at least

Multiples of that.

Yeah, I think he's just getting at the fact that you can probably double that to 500k+ and still be safe. Not something I'm in the market for, but with what low grade copies are getting, and with the fact you'd be talking about a top grade copy on one of the best books in the hobby, the comparables are there to get a very big #.

At the VF top of census grade specifically, I'm not sure it should be worth any more/less than T27 or A1. ie. ~1m.

Pulling that out of my butt, but really, when the top copies of the other two are worth multiple millions, a single mil or even 3/4 m for Supes doesn't seem so outlandish..

But, that's about 740k than I'd ever really want to pay for a comic so what do I know.

Back in 2010 we owned the lone 6.0 blue label. Someone recently offered me 500k thinking I still owned it (we sold it years ago)

I was just gonna mention about your former 6.0 copy. Probably the last higher grade unrestored copy I've seen. Ultra rare in 6.0 and up. I guess you can put those copies as "high grade."
