Someone asked me about donating more books, please do..Although some people are mentioning Greg's raw books, it seems he sold the better ones before he passed.

 

We do not expect to be listing Greg's raw books

 

Yes, I'm still behind on the invoices. I hope to catch up tonight. It's a slow process, I'm trying to do multiples for those who bought more than 1 book..

I think only the books listed for sale by Junkdrawer (for Greg's family) are currently up for the 10% discount.

Some of the books (ex. Cap #100) are donations, so that discount may not apply.

 

I agree, and have called for a Team discussion. I am holding off declaring a winner of the Cap 100 until then.

Featured Item-I give you The Incredible Hulk 181 Near Mint condition very improvable with a press and dry clean. This book has the Marvel Value Stamp AND the Mark Jeweler's Insert. Books with the Jeweler's Insert traditionally command a 15% premium over the ones without. The only defect I see not improvable with a press is in the upper right front cover, otherwise a very stunning book.

It's not going to happen anytime soon. I apologize, but only Junkdrawer can go back and mark them.

 

This is one of the reasons why CKB (who was working tirelessly helping) was marking the books sold as they were sold and we have had updates. The updates have been pretty accurate, but we STILL go back and check each time, just in case..

 

I have about 67 pages, to go back through, including posts with just a name and a Take... I know that people were buying from their phones and we appreciate all the "takes" but it's tedius.

 

We are putting in a lot of overtime;) and just doing the best we can, trying not to make a zillion errors..

 

Thanks to everyone for their patience...and to those of you who are not patient...

 

Please volunteer the next time I ask for help,lol. :foryou:

Just wanted to reach out and thank Chris (Junkdrawer) and all our fabulous boardies who have helped out in a HUGE way for Dorothy and Greg, and all of our boardie community!!!

 

This generosity of time, energy, and caring is the very definition of community, and I am both humble and proud to be a member with all of you.

 

I appreciate all of you, and will miss Greg's warmth, Dorothy's dedication, and only wish I was still living in Boston so that I could have attended Greg's services with his family.

 

Greg will be missed here on the boards, and what you have done to honor Greg's memory is worthy of high praise. My personal thanks to all of you!

I know that people are waiting for totals, I usually have them posted, I'm not up to date with validating payments, so I'll do it tomorrow :wishluck:
