Interesting splash here. What year is this from? I ask as it makes me wonder who inspired who for the movie "The Blob". This seems to be the exact creature from the movie and the text box refers to it as a blob. hm

I think that Jelly Men splash is from Marvel Mystery 31.  Yes, it predates "The Blob".  How far back does this story go?  I don't know but I have had dinner at the "Home of the Blob", which is the diner used in the movie.  Also been to the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville.

Marvel Mystery 31 - the artist is Ramona Patenaude, who is mostly known for her work at Fox... down Gino, down! :smile:

I have to be honest, I borrowed this scan from www.comicbooksplus.com but I did just get a copy of my own, finally. From Victory Comics 2..... an early Everett masterpiece.... GOD BLESS...
