My luck was very good. 6 monster buttons out of 12. I came to that game late, the seller had already sold another 12 packs.

 

I bet my Frankenstein and werewolf was in there.

 

couple of Batty Buttons on eBay, but ridicously priced.

here is my sharpener collection, the etta the ghouls in this color are rare. mostly they show up in green.

 

Wolfman, hard to find in white, purple or gray.

the mummy heads are almost impossible to find in any other color than green.

 

Frankenstien is the holy grail of sharpeners. Hang onto them with all your might.

 

you can bet this small collection was a labor of love.

here's a very odd piece i picked up awhile back. a 14 inch rubber puppet... it's hollow so that you can put your hand in it to move drac's head to drink her blood!

 

there are no identifying markings and I've been unsuccessful in obtaining any information on it at all.

 

i did however find it pictured in kirk hammett's book too much horror business.

so the story behind the battty buttons, the universal monster ones...

 

I bought 12 unopened packs off ebay, and six mind you SIX were universal monster buttons. I mean the odds are stacked against me but it worked.

 

the seller listed 2 more unopened packs and I bought them, they showed up today.

 

the first one I opened...
