'Suzie' is a GGA icon in these parts. This is her first appearance (and cover). Though not the center of attention here the artist did manage to sneak in some cheesecake (the air conditioning is on ).

There are so many books i want to get slabbed, if i could only stop buying

A little research 'cause that's part of the fun.  Turns out Judy Canova was a real person, a comedienne with radio, TV, broadway and movie credits.  Kind of like My Friend Irma - forgotten about media stars from back in the day.  

Additionally, the dudes being chased by Judy on the cover are Fox employees, Martin Thall (foreground) and Sid Check, Wally Wood, Victor Fox, Joe Orlando in the paddy wagon.
