Celestial Comics will be attending Big Apple and will be offering witnessing and CGC submissions at the show. Check out the Celestial schedule as they will be signing with John Romita and Larry Lieber after the Big Apple show, so Onsite submissions will be accepted at the show.

***A note to those attending, Reilly Brown (who will be at the show) recently had a fire in his apt in NJ and lost some property due to water and fire. As such, any commissions going his way would be greatly appreciated -- http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/02/18/deadpool-artist-reilly-browns-newborn-baby-has-lost-everything-in-a-fire-can-you-help/

Thanks for doing this page Jason.

I'm a friend of the promoter, so I'm a little biased, but I really believe that with tickets only $20 - you get a lot of bang for your buck at this convention.

I set up at this show last year, and will be set up there again this time around.

To get access to a ONE DAY show that a focus on *comic books*, with the amount of better dealers that regularly set up at this show...along with the added benefit of having CGC set up and being able to sub books right at CGC's booth.....I'd say that twenty bucks is well worth it.

Should be $50 for anyone dressed in cosplay

I actually did NOT see that many Cosplayers walking around at last year's Big Apple, as I usually seem to encounter at other comic cons.

The Big Apple con has an old school comic convention feel to it.

Carbo himself was actually partially dressed up as Doc Emmet Brown at last year's Big Apple, but he's a good dude with character...and his shows are well organized/promoted.

As such, his shows bring in real collectors, along with with plenty of good comic dealers to buy from...and ultimately, that's what it boils down to(thumbs u

Here is the description of the one of the featured panel at the Big Apple Con ext Saturday in NYC:

Of Surfers, Panthers, Singing Superheroes and Not-so-Dark Knights: 1966 in Comics: the year of Galactus and Batman! With Peter Sanderson and Danny Fingeroth [A Will Eisner Week event]

The year 1966 (fifty years ago) was a landmark in the history of comics and pop culture. While Marvel reached one of many creative peaks with the introductions of characters including Galactus, the Silver Surfer, and the Black Panther, DC's Batman TV series debuted, as did the Superman Broadway musical. Will Eisner's The Spirit made a comeback. And those are just the tip of the iceberg of this momentous year. Join comics historians Peter Sanderson and Danny Fingeroth as they present a slideshow tour though this amazing year. [This panel is part of Will Eisner Week,a worldwide series of events celebrating comics and graphic novels and the legacy of comics visionary Eisner: www.willeisner.com]
