To be honest, I didn't think a 9.8/W existed, the Suscha, which was the previous GPA high, is/was 9.8 OW/W. The only saving grace to my wallet is that because I don't want anything that isn't 9.8/W, I pass on other beautiful books, like the FF 136 that sold in the Comiclink auction in February. I spent like $500 bucks in the last couple weeks on modern comics, but at least I was able to scratch off many of the modern comics I really wanted, like many of Parrillo's & Artgerm's earlier covers. I was just involved in a staggering bidding war for a high grade low census book. It wasn't even as low census as your FF. I prevailed but my wallet is on life support. It hasn't sold in years in it's grade but I'm still bewildered at that final number! It ended up around 4x the highest GPA including pedigrees. Especially when your looking at depictions of Sonja and Dejah Thoris by Lucio Parrillo. And you can add Vampirella to that list as well especially considering Vampirella #19, which IMO is the single best Vampirella iteration to date and the single sexiest comic cover in the history of comics. I just wish Dynamite would stop being so greedy and start paying thier cover artists more money. Considering how well Dynamite is doing, I guarantee then can easily afford to do so.
