I could never find a copy of WW #196 good enough to submit and only recently 9.8 copies began popping up on the census and put up for sale. Turns out they'd just gotten in a small collection of low/mid grade silver Marvels, including this one. It fits directly into my wheelhouse: beat but complete, and cheap! It's a shame about that strip out of the bottom of the cover, because the book is otherwise solid with nice colors. Oh well, the price was right, so I was happy to jump on it. Normally I buy maybe 10-20 books in month but there was a comic book convention with dollar bins etc. I also met Charlie Adlard who not only signed my WD 7 but draw a sketch also.
